ABOUT ME

I’m a passionate writer and editor with formal journalism training.

Recently, I’ve become increasingly interested in literary work, analysis and criticism. My work is motivated by a love of the arts, an interest in social movements, pop culture and the political landscape. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) as well as a Master of Fine Arts from the University of King’s College.

I live in the Halifax area with my partner and our senior greyhound. Aside from reading and writing, animals are my passion: I am a “horse girl” through and through! The quickest way into my good graces is a reference from the Star Wars prequels. Cooking is the bane of my existence, but I will jump at the chance to bake you some cookies or cupcakes.

I happily work from home and I’m always interested in hearing from editors and potential clients.
